I stayed at the Charming Palace Santa Fosca for two nights with my husband and two teenage daughters, and we loved the place. The location was great- right along a main route and walkable to everywhere we wanted to go in Venice. It's on a square with a restaurant in the same building, and we enjoyed a bottle of wine from the restaurant while sitting outside on a canal one evening- a perfect end to the day. This hotel entrance doesn't have a manned front desk, so you have to check in at the sister hotel that's located on the other side of the building. Not a problem as long as you know to go there! The front desk is manned there 24 hours a day, and the staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast and cappuccino were a good way to start the day. I highly recommend staying here when traveling to Venice!

Lovely place to stay! Close to everything, and great restaurant next door. It was confusing to find and probably should be clearer that you check in at the Hotel Tintoretto which is connected.

The front staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well kept. My family with four kids had a wonderful time. The best part about this place is the location. It is quiet and yet easy access to many of the main attractions and nearby eateries. I would definitely stay again.

Nice loft

This is an ideal property for those that want to be close to everything like the Rialto Bridge and Piazza Saints Marco plaza but far enough away for a quiet and peaceful spot on the canal. The convenience of having a water taxi drop you off right by the hotel is worth it. Place was super charming and staff was very helpful in arranging all our transportation. We stayed in the Canalette suite with private patio overlooking a canal. Absolutely loved the place. The restaurant in between the hotel and church was probably the best food we had the entire trip and was reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place.

A memorable hotel with a lot of character. Centrally located but still not too loud and a bit away from the big crowds. The room was clean and spacious, air conditioner worked well.

The Hotel it is difficult to find, because it is nestled in between a restaurant. Better directions need to be provided. The elevator was broken and it was difficult to carry all the luggage to what they call the 2nd floor but really is more like the 3rd floor. I came home with a pull back, and I am fairly young. The room is spacious for European standards, clean and it does have an amazing view.

Beautiful area in Canareggio. Much nicer and authentic than the other more turistic zones. As anywhere in Venice, rooms are small. Staff was very nice. Its quite a walk from the alilaguna ferry station so travel light or invest in a water taxi transfer to the campo santa Fosca, right at the hotel. My favorite part of the breakfast was sitting at the charming Campo (piazza) Santa Fosca. The hotel connects inside with hotel Tintoretto a sister property.

Beautiful canal view room. The family room easily fit our family of 4. Was a nice clean room with air conditioning and comfortable beds. Wish we would have used a porter from the train station because it was tough wheeling our luggage up and over the stairs of bridges on our way to the hotel. On arrival we took the public boat and it took about double the time than just walking like we did on our return. Hotel is in great location for cafes and good restaurants too.
