The hotel’s only positive aspect is its location, being close to Town Hall Station and various shops and amenities. However, for the price it charges, the hotel is far too old, poorly maintained, and confusing to navigate. There is no separate reception or help desk for check-in or assistance. Guests have to go through the bar area, and during busy periods you may end up waiting until someone notices you, rather than being attended to promptly. The rooms and bathrooms are extremely small, not very clean, and some of the bathroom tiles are broken. Overall, booking this hotel was a huge mistake on my part. I wish I had stayed at The Grace instead, which is always my preferred choice.

Clean room, not too bad. Was a couple cockroaches in the bathroom and there was an aircon directly outside one of my windows which never stopped making a loudish noise which made it hard to sleep though

Great place to stay, staff friendly and its clean

Stayed one night with my 16 year old. Couldn’t contact staff before 10am which made it tricky to leave bags in the morning. When we collected bags later we were going to sit for a minute and have a coke but were asked to leave as my daughter is under age 18.

Dirty carpet, old and bad quality bedsheets and towels, noice outside. Fun pub and a good thing, very nice location.

Clean quiet room with comfortable bed however no spare toilet roll or tissues were provided and lights in bathroom were not working. Bathroom and toilet area very small and cramped with large step to get in and out.

Hotel is perfectly located and the rooms are clean. However the staff is never around to refill the coffee station or to provide toilet paper etc. all in all, ok

The hotel was dirty and smelly. The ‘en-suite’ bathroom was literally a prefabricated cube in the corner of the room with a step up to it. The stairs up to the rooms looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. The room smelled so bad I looked for an alternative but due to Mardi Gras there was either no availability or prices were extortionate. I don’t understand how some people have rated this hotel 10/10. They clearly didn’t stay here or have extremely low standards.

Clean rooms (although very small) and friendly staff! 4 stars due to being woken up at 5AM due to construction. Location is amazing!!

What a wonderful hotel. From the time we arrived it was awesome. The staff were excellent and could not do enough for us, great location and the rooms were lovely. We had dinner there and the food was excellent. They go above and beyond. Would definitely stay there again, highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay.
