Staff was great, room was super-clean, breakfast was fine. The building itself is small and we were on the first floor and could hear people coming and going.

Air conditioning worked fine . The hotel wasrreallya bed and breakfast that looked bigger on line than in person . The room was small with one seat and no place to store three suit cases. The lights throughout were dim and not well placed . Impossible to read in bed as light shine up and not down on book. Breakfast had to ordered time and menu when arrived

Amazing service. Never seen anything like it in NZ. Like being welcomed into someone’s house. Amazing breakfast delivered in the morning too.

Beautiful room conveniently located

This is a really interesting hotel - from the outside it looks like you are staying in a beautifully restored quaint local home with a gorgeous frontage. When you walk inside you realize it has been gloriously renovated - in a much more modern vibe. The art is beautiful, the rooms are perfect, the tiny library (with your complimentary wine) is so relaxing. We felt very at home and the staff were exceptional. Oh and breakfast was delicious on the porch.

Clean, hip, comfortable. Attentive service. Fun neighborhood for shopping and food options. Great alternative to Auckland center.

Perfect inner city stay that is private enough to feel like home but close to everything

This boutique hotel is sublime. Happy hour every evening, delicious breakfast brought to you. Bathroom has a heated floor & heated towel rack. Good shower. Nespresso & kettle in room. Fridge in room. Comfy bed, helpful staff. Easy walk to Ponsonby St where there's a myriad of shops and cafes! Grocery store is an easy walk too. We hope to be back someday!
