It is what it is cheap cheerful accomidation well situated in town just off north side off occonell at pub just around the corner was101% great food plenty full. Irish music every night great atmosphere highly recommended all in all a great 3 days in Dublin

check in was made difficult as partner arrived before myself and was made to pay 100 euro deposit to enter the room. the hotel and room were not very clean. the hotel was so hot and the noise from outside bars made it difficult to sleep and a very strong smell of cannibis around the hotel throughout the whole stay. overall we were disappointed with our stay and will not be booking again

The building is old and leaning, it's very hot, and when you step on the floor everything makes noise.

I’d like to start by saying I have never written a review for a hotel before but I feel very strongly about this hotel. I’m a reasonable person so I’ll start with what was good: Location is great Nice hand soap Toilet flushes And now for the bad: Weird crumbs on the floor/dirty carpet Noise of lights outside room was a buzzing from electrical equipment As far as I can tell they do not mention that it is on top of a Night club which is very loud till early hours of the morning Room way too hot and fan provide was not great quality and made an awful noise Tv was useless, wouldn’t connect to internet and had no working channels WiFi only covered the entrance and toilet area Door had massive gap between floor and door Taps only had hot water Bed is uncomfortable Pictures do not match reality This is all with the price being very high for what we got a hotel for one night (somewhat understandable as it is in a city). I would not recommend staying here just pay a bit extra for a different hotel.

Staff are kind and helpful. Shops are nearby. access to public trasport is excellent

This is loosely called a hotel! No public toilet or facilities to change or freshen up if rooms are not ready. Outside broken sign, filthy dirty and up 2 stairs to get to reception. The showers are all mould, broken door in our room. Extremely noisy and also not the safest area to be in. Images are not one bit reflective of what’s online. Might have been 20 years ago. Totally disappointed given room was only ready from 4pm and €200 for one night.

Great location

The hotel is above a nightclub which means that uou will literally be shook physially by the volume of noise until 3am ; in my room window didmt lock and telly didnt work. Absoloutley no insulation in the building

The rom itself was fine, though the bathroom floor covering had a large hole in it. The hallway, stairs and reception are like travelling back in time - creaky, very stained old carpets. These areas are not shown in this listing. Misleading. It was very overpriced for the standard. If you do stay, ask for a room away from the noise, as it is above a nightclub, and rooms at the back are above a gigantic beer garden. Staff - absolutely lovely and helpful. Let us store our bags for the day.
