When I made chek inn, was told that elevator is in maintenance for 2 hours, never happened, they gives a coupon for breakfast every day. Personal on front desk want me to go down 3 floors for breakfast coupon then go 6 floors by stairs to take the food

Pool chairs look nothing like photos. Listing said englush speaking staff, but not that we encountered in 5 days. Use caution if booking the loft, very steep narrow stairs. beds and pillows were very nice. Drapea were dirtty. No refrigerator was hard.

Jack hammer outside, seal on sliding door allows dust and unexpectedly noisie, could not stay in the room during the day, oily substance on the surfaces, red and color, clean the floor by myself when I first got there. I booked a different hotel, asked to move to a hotel in their chain they refused. And we’re going to charge if I left.

Stagg was great

The property offers nicely renovated rooms and is conveniently located in a central area near Coco Bongo. There is also a good taco restaurant nearby called Don Sirloin. However, the staff at this location were unfriendly and unhelpful throughout our stay. We chose this hotel specifically for the loft-style rooms, but there are many better options in Playa del Carmen that provide a more welcoming experience for international guests. Additionally, the elevator felt unsafe, and each morning we were disturbed by loud housekeeping activity, including persistent banging on neighboring doors.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The room was extremely dirty upon check-in. There were no washcloths provided, which is basic housekeeping. The shower had visible mold, the curtains were dirty, and the air vents were dusty, which made the room feel neglected and unsanitary. Cleanliness is a minimum expectation when staying at a hotel, and unfortunately this property did not meet that standard. I did not feel comfortable during my stay and would not recommend this hotel to others.

Room was nice great location close to coco bongo and 5th ave?

Staff was never friendly, rooftop was not like the pictures online.

Clean. Friendly staff. VERY convenient and close proximity to main strip and restaurants. Pool made for a nice escape from the business of the strip. Would recommend and would stay here again.
