We absolutely loved this place, and it’s probably going to be our favorite of all of Japan. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They go really out of their way to make a great experience for you! . The onsen is very cool as well. Highly recommend. 20/10

Excellent stay! The staff were lovely, and the private ones was wonderful. Great transport connections to everything in Hakone. Lovely kitchen and bar. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed our stay here. The staff are very friendly and acomodating. We did the takoyaki cooking class and had a great time. The onsen was peaceful. For those who want to know sleeping, on the mats is pretty much like camping. If you don't enjoy a sleeping bag then this will be a problem for you. Personally would recomend staying here as its not far from the station and compared to other places you dont have yo walk uphill that much.

My daughter & I had a great stay and would definitely come back to this guesthouse again. Friendly staff, central location in Gora with easy access to all the transport. Traditional type rooms & with access to a private onsen. Relaxing common area with option to participate in hostel activities & meet other travelers. The staff were the best!
