Our room was not cleaned when we expected on 2 occasions and it wasn’t until then it was explained there was a QR code to request it. The staff dealing with this were sullen and unhelpful but when we raised it with the management we got an apology and a promise to follow up with staff training. Otherwise the room was a good standard, the location was excellent, near shops and train stations. I’d asked about breakfast in advance but no one ever replied so I don’t know if it’s available or not as no one asked if we wanted it on arrival.

Unfortunately, the room we were given had bedbugs which we discovered at midnight. With no overnight front desk staff on premises, we were stuck in the room and spent a sleepless night trying to mitigate our exposure and to avoid becoming vectors for the insects for our other destinations (Berlin was the first stop on a multi-city vacation). We did write an email to the manager and sent pictures, plus we did notify staff the following morning. Manager’s response was empathetic and offered recommendations on how to clean clothes and belongings. The experience of this type was a first for us and was an unsettling start to our journey. Fellow travelers, we hope you can avoid similar circumstances on your trips.

Superb place for the price. Good location, minutes from the U-Bahn and S-Bahn. Easy to walk to Museum Island. A great place for our stay where the intention was to explore Central Berlin and have somewhere nice to return to and sleep.

Bathroom is strange smell. Noise in the midnight. The atmosphere around the hotel seems safety.

Really clean room, great location and fast check in

Clean room load by the train

Close and quick

The bathroom was with bad smell the whole time.

Check in was easy and the location was about 7 minutes walk from Alexanderplatz. Not a charming place though. Right across from the fire station and right next to the s-bahn. Both meant a lot of noise throughout the day (and night). Everything was nice and clean and the bed was made. Extra towels etc available. However, the bed was not at all comfortable; it felt like an old box matress where half the springs were broken. In combination with old foam pillows that felt like they were completely torn apart on the inside, i did not have a good nights sleep there. My neck and my back still hurts. The duvet was also not very comfortable or breathable. Aside from the sleeping conditions, everything was good and the quality matched the price i'd say. Conclusion: find somewhere else to stay outside of Mitte.

Very clean hotel. Staff was very friendly, i would go back again
