Hotel room felt dirty. Stains on walls/basebaords, felt old and run down. Carpet was lifting off the floor. Bathroom didn't have liquid soap for showers, only hand soap bars. Managed to find some on a hospitality cart outside my door. There was no microwave nor fridge in the room so no cold water, no leftovers, no food. Shower water pressure was not good. AC was a small window unit and felt like it was struggling in the August heat. No vent or AC in the bathroom. WiFi was down the entire time I was there. I was overall pretty disappointed and felt I should've just booked a normal hotel rather than waste my time on this "boutique" hotel. It's just old and in need of renovation.

A nice, cozy, historical place to stay in a historical city.

Very clean

Everything was great: the location is fantastic, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and had everything I needed. The room was quite small, but it was a perfect size for my needs as a solo traveller.

Good location. Downfall no onsite parking

great stay. great staff. great room. this was our fifth hotel in a week and BY FAR OUR FAVORITE STAY. the managers social hour after a long drive was a total awesome blessing!

Very good location. Walkable

The location of the Alexander Inn is very practical - walking to shops, museums, historic sites and restaurants is easy. We especially enjoyed the convenience of staying here

Great location and staff. Really enjoyed the social hour and breakfast. I'll be back again.

Continental Breakfast, which means it was very light, few varieties of fruit, cereal. What there was good quality.
