Island Bay was a great experience. The accommodations were just as we expected and the staff could not have been more friendly and help full.

The hostess/ staff was amazing! Walking the property check in and making sure everyone had their needs met. She even decorated and brought a cupcake for my husband as we were celebrating his birthday. Very thoughtful! Very clean and enjoyable place. Love the quiet no kids, relaxing vibe! Kayaking and paddle boarding along the coast was great too. The sunsets from the property were amazing!

If you want to just chill and watch the sunset this place is for you!

This place is absolutely beautiful! We had the best time ever! We even had a run in with two manatees in the bay out in a kayak. We can’t forget about Johnny the squirrel, she is adorable and we enjoyed feeding her. ❤️

The resort was great - clean, well-appointed room with good air-conditioning. The grounds were very well maintained and plenty of space to lounge in chaises, tables, hammocks or swings. Really lovely and relaxing!

Anna is awesome. She is super attentive and provided us with everything we needed along with a recommendation of some great places to eat. This place is a true paradise that offers seclusion and peace in a small area. Highly recommended.

Such a cute place! We would definitely stay again. Lots of activities available on the property too - everything from bocce ball to corn hole to paddle boards and kayaks. With under a dozen rooms, it is quiet and private feeling. I wish we had had longer than our 2 nights there because the sunset views are amazing. The beach area is really the best aspect of the entire place! We loved it. But definitely wear bug spray - we both got may bites in our short time there. Definitely put this at the top of your list!

Island Bay Resort was even better than we had anticatiped. The resort is beautifully maintained. Our cottage was uniquely decorated, very clean and very comfortable. We loved the intimacy and peacefulness of this small resort. Because there are only 10 cottages, and no additional guests are allowed, it is never crowded or noisy. Just what we were looking for! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We spoke with Daniel, the owner a couple of times and could tell he and the staff work hard to maintain the beauty of the resort. We loved being able to use the kayaks and paddleboards without having to rent them. The beach view is lovely and the water is crystal clear. We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay!

This place was absolutely beautiful. They surprised us with decorations in our room for our anniversary. Champagne and chocolates were an amazing touch. We will definitely be back! Their location allows for a sunset view over the water every night from a private beach and seating.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay there longer. The property was beautiful with amazing sunsets and the staff was very friendly. Looking forward to returning.
