Great staff and room. Close to mosque

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It is closer to most of the tourist attractions and excellent restaurants. The hotel staff are amicable and supportive.

Pleasant staff

Room was not as advertised. We paid for a Family Room, described on Hotels.com as on the top floor with 2 King beds and a Single bed. We arrived and were put in a street-level Triple Room (smaller, with 3 single beds). When we queried it, we were told to discuss with the manager the next morning. We spoke to the manager at breakfast, and he told us that there are no rooms with 2 King beds and 1 Single bed in the hotel, but eventually agreed to move us to another room on the top floor (away from the street-level noise) with 3 Single beds, which was slightly larger. No rebate offered. Rooms were generally clean, except for the tops of wardrobes, which were filthy. Don't put your towel up there to dry like I did!

I like it. 8 out of 10. Fair for that price. Helpful management. Special thanks to cleaning lady. She was super nice.

Property needs renovation( wallpaper with dirty marks everywhere) , heating too low and no way to control it,heating does not work in washroom ( snow/freezing outside), washroom door lock does not work, no garbage basket in room, tea pot handle burns hand, property on Hill hard to walk if you are with children although location close to mosques, reception had a teenager kid with minimal language skills , could not report problems to him. Very bad experience.

Overview: the location was horrible / the hotel was un kept and un clean / room were small and bed was un comfrotable. The staff service was helpful / proffesional and welcoming.

The location of the hotel is too much practical for visiting historical and shopping places. Cosy hotel and calm. The service was fast and on demand. Except one little remark, the bending bed should not be taking out from the room without prior notice. Regards

My brother and I reserved 2 rooms June 12 - June 27th. Due to personal circumstances we had to leave on the 22nd . We notified the owner/manager on the 18th (4 days prior) that we were leaving earlier and when we asked about the policy of early check out he said “ you will only for the nights you stay”. He even booked our Airport Transfer Taxi- after Contacting Expedia for refund the Hotel has denied our refund for the 5 nights for both rooms - saying that they were not notified that we we were leaving earlier . Dishonest to say the least! What was a decent experience turned to a disappointing end. I am definitely not going back to Sultanahmet Cesme Hotel and will make sure my friends ,family and beyond are aware of this. It’s not so much about the money they’re taking from usanymore ,it’s the fact that they’re lying about it.

I had a good stay at the hotel, very convenient. It's a walking distance to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The manager and the attendants were very welcoming. Overall, a good experience.
