This was one of only 2 lettings at the property, a roomy 2 room suite. It is a period property. Stairs are a little steep. Rooms were charming, with plenty of space and the owner's original artwork around. The owner, Michele, was very helpful and also charming. The location is easy for the sights, such as the Palais des Papes, and a little over 15 minutes walk from the central station. It's on a quiet backstreet, (though we did hear some noisy people about 2 am each night for a few minutes - bit annoying but brief). Not very obvious to find - look for big green doors and the No 15. Nice relaxing stay in Avignon.

The apartment is in a very central location although there is no local parking and the parking is a 15 minute walk or use the free bus service. The apartment is 'eclectic' in its furniture and layout but is comfortable and has all the necessary amenities. Unfortunately the bathroom had not been cleaned properly before we arrived. Michele is a lovely lady and her recommendations for sites and restaurants was very helpful.

Cocooning is Amazing!! Michele is like your best friend, making sure you’re always taken care of~ Her home is a museum, art gallery, comfy, and so special! Do yourself a big favor.. book it! We didn’t want to leave!

Very pleasant apartment in an old stone house. The owner was very helpful in suggesting restaurants. The parking in Les Halles parking structure is very confusing if you don’t know the system. On your GPS directions, you drive down a narrow street that stops, and there are bollards (cylindrical barriers) to block the semi-pedestrianized street. You have to drive right up to the bollards, and there isn’t much room for your car. You press a button and the bollards lower so you can drive through. Keep going for about a block. The Les Halls parking structure is on your left. There are elevators, but we didn’t see them. Once you get into Avignon, it is great. Lots of good restaurants.

Cocooning is a gem. It’s located in a beautiful old building, but everything is up to date. Michele, our host did a fantastic job in making us feel at home, and welcome. She gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations. The apartment is beautifully decorated, and the bed is very comfortable

An apartment that feels like home in an old medieval city. Michele is an excellent host and her suggestions for Aignon were really helpful. The rooms felt like you were staying at a friends place next to an old convent. (True) Avignon is a beautiful place with a surprise around every corner.

This property is a little gem, located on a tiny street, and hidden behind an imposing secured door opening to a cobbled courtyard with gorgeous flowering trees. Originally a single family home, the unit is on the ground floor with two spacious rooms filled with interesting artwork and eclectic decor from owner’s far reaching travels. More Air BnB than hotel, a welcome change from hotels…more of an emersion into the lifestyle of a citizen of a unique and beautiful walled city! Michèle was warm and helpful. The bathroom is small but adequate… the addition of a soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser in the shower and new fluffy towels would make this a perfect stay!

Great place for everything you want to do could not ask for more

Wonderful property and very cool hosts! Amazing art and decorations. 10-15 min walk to sightseeing locations, restaurants and bus/train stations.
