The staff were great. The shower wasn’t great as it was broken. The breakfast wasn’t brilliant. There were no plates or cups so I had to go and find the staff to improve this. I had an evening meal which was limited choice as I’m gluten free and the meal wasn’t great.

Nothing to dislike whatsoever

The corridor carpet was quite tired looking and paintwork a little damaged The staff on reception were very helpful. The staff at breakfast did their best but large queues built up and items were regularly being run out of, there was an air of being overwhelmed. The manager walked around in his suit instead of rolling his sleeves up and helping the team cope with the rush. We had to wait to be admitted to the restaurant along with many other guests resulting in queues just to get into breakfast that's never happened in the many hotels we've stayed in around the world. Some toast had run out, all the jam was used up so couldn't have any. You need to be organised and supplies need to be better and constantly refilled. Im only detailing this to help you improve. The Leonardo hotel Piccadilly Manchester was an excellent choice for for attending a gig at the Co-op live. Fantastic location a twenty minute walk or 5 minutes on the tram. The hotel was clean and staff extremely friendly and helpful. Bar and restaurant more than expected and breakfast was very good. We will use again for gigs. Not far from railway station 10min walk.

Excellent location for the co-op live arena , everything was excellent . Only suggestion would be to manage the Que for breakfast as insufficient seating area , however that doesn’t hinder the quality of this hotel . Will stay again .

Perfect location for the Etihad and CO OP Live (both a 20 min signposted walk down the canal) Rooms were clean and well appointed. Hallways and stairs quite scruffy and dirty tho

Great hotel with clean comfy rooms and friendly staff. Great location as it's within walking distance to the city centre and also Co-op Live/Etihad Stadium! Would definitely recommend!

Clean and well located for coop live, 20min steady walk. Unfortunate experience at breakfast. Milk had gone off, cereal and coffee unpleasant. Staff rectified quickly and provided coffee from the bar. Food was OK, good selection but lacked quality. Hot buffet breakfast, beans were freezing! Rest of the buffet was just warm. Staff tried hard to rectify but then lacked confidence, didn't eat but was able to sort a full refund for breakfast without any qualms. 2nd time we've stayed here, first time would have recommended breakfast, might think twice in future.
