Staff were amazing, pool was great, the room was really cute. AC and the ceiling fan combo were great after spending time outdoor in the sun. We did have issue with AC dripping water but when I told the concierge Enrique, he took care of it right away and we had no issue afterwards. However the breakfast was too salty we skipped the other day even when it was included in our bill. (I would only recommend the pancakes!) The water pressure was really bad it was just dripping. It was little annoying but with the service we’ve gotten from the staff, this is tolerable.

The perfect spot for a relaxing getaway! The entire staff was super friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed having access to Bardo’s amenities. 10/10 for everything.

There are bugs in the room. The pool water is dirty, and there is a lack of consideration for guests; it seems the hotel is only focused on making money. It is not worth the price. I recommend not going.

Everything was perfect.

We absolutely love Una Vida—so much so that we’ve spent our last two March Break vacations here. It’s a beautiful, tranquil oasis on the edge of town, with a stunning property and exceptional staff. My wife especially enjoyed the daily morning yoga, while our son looked forward to relaxing by the pool in the evenings. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between peaceful retreat and easy access to everything Tulum has to offer. The staff truly make the experience. They are incredibly helpful—whether it’s booking beach clubs, recommending restaurants, or simply making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. A great added bonus is access to their two sister properties (both adults-only), which guests can also enjoy. We highly recommend Una Vida and look forward to returning again.

Beautoful hotel with great amenities and staff

Staff were amazing, so attentive and helped to book a few trips which turned out to be highlights of our holiday. The room was spotless and throughly cleaned every day, couldn’t fault it. It was a 20 min walk from centre but we didn’t mind that, as it felt like a quiet oasis away from the noise. Having access to Bardo and Milam pools was an added bonus as both had better pools and food than Una Vida (but Una Vida is half the price!) - would 100% recommend to anyone.

We had a lovely time at Una vida. We had reserved the one bedroom suite via Expedia in which photographs had shown a bathtub however our suite did not have a bathtub. We inquired with the staff and the following day we were switched to another one bedroom suite which did have both the shower and a bath as we had been looking forward to. Other than this, the room was excellent, very clean. The staff were very attentive and kind. The best part is the yoga type classes available at Bardo at no extra cost. We visited late December and thus seemed less busy at this time so the complex was quiet. The pools are lovely particularly the accessible Bardo pool. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend Una vida if your looking for a relaxing stay in walking distance of downtown Tulum.

Just away from centro, but an easy walk.
