The entire stay at the W was fantastic.
The only problem was that after check out we saw the email that charged us for items in the room bar that we did not use. When I called to question the bill the person was very accommodating and said it would be corrected in 5-10 business days. I hope this is true. Just wondering why this happened at all. Otherwise it would have been perfect.

My daughter got stuck in the shower for over an hour. The shower door was stuck shut. Maintenance had to come to the room to pry open the shower door to get her out. She was completely naked in front of the maintenance man that had to rescue her. The hotel staff never offered to move her and boyfriend to another room and they never offered any options to rectify the situation. The staff wanted to pretend like this never happened. The glass shower doors are dangerous and unsafe, especially if you staying alone. The shower doors create a suction against the shower wall and get stuck. If you’re staying alone in the room and this happens to you, you would be stuck in that shower until the maids come the next day. If you have your no disturb light on no telling how long you could be stuck in that shower of the door gets stuck.

The rooms were clean.
Porter/valet staff need more training.
Front desk staff were lacklustre and there’s no follow through.
Bar/restaurant staff were great.
Wifi/cell service is awful at this hotel (whether you pay for the wifi or not).
