The room was clean and the housekeeping was well done. We stayed in a room that accommodated 5 (two queens and a hide-away). My kids said the hide-a-way mattress was brutal…that’s nothing new. The roof top pool is very small but also very cool! They also have some chairs and a fire bowl up there. The kitchen appliances worked well, there is an IGA within walking distance. The location of the hotel is very convenient for walking however being a person who isn’t used to big city life I found the traffic noise from the highway a bit loud and it’s right by a hospital so there are sirens. It is also very near a shelter so sometimes there was a little excitement getting to the front door. The parking is a bit tricky, we came back one day from an outing and all the spots were gone; the hotel staff did refund us the money they had us prepay in advance for parking but it was stressful to find alternative parking. That said you can easily walk to all the cool sites.

I booked 3 rooms for 6 people and we arrived at 3 pm to check in. They had 4 of us in one room so we had to wait while they sorted that out. The 3rd couple waited till 3:40 pm before room was ready. Check in was for 3 pm. The response for the late check in was that housekeeping was working as quickly as they can so that we have a clean room. I didn’t think staffing was the customers problem. When I got to my room, it felt like they rushed to clean and just tidied up the room. Usually in a hotel the bed is made up as tight as in tight corners but ours was done loosely. Pros: spacious room, great location, close to metro, Old Port, and right in Chinatown.

Staff and breakfast were great but the property needs some maintenance. Our balcony had loose tiles with gaps in the floor. The pool also needed to have the tiles around it fixed and the pool area needed to be cleaned more. Otherwise, a good stay in Chinatown and close to attractions like the Underground City and Notre Dame Basilica.

Nice hotel and very conveniently located to walk to old Montreal. They upgraded us to a room with a balcony which was nice, but, the seal around the balcony door wasn’t tight so you could hear some of the highway noise. Otherwise the hotel was great and clean.

Very clean and great staff

The hotel location is great. Close to Old Montreal and downtown. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was lovely. The view from the room was fantastic! The noise from the highway is quite loud when the balcony door is open, but not an issue when the door is closed. The balcony could use a good cleaning - lots of cobwebs and dirt and the balcony glass was quite dirty. Breakfast has a good selection, but is very busy with limited seats for the amount of people. The food would often run out but more would be brought out fairly quickly. The pool is a nice perk. However, it is made of steel and the steps going in are very slippery. Be careful! The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful.

Location was great for walking to Old Port. The staff was very nice, and our room was very clean and comfortable.

The hotel itself is alright. The lobby is decent but the rooms need some work. The stitching on the carpet was coming off, the roll down shade on the door to the balcony was broken. We did early check in and found hairs on the bed then the balcony was extremely dirty in the 1st room. Luckily, The front desk was nice and moved us to another room after a short wait. It was slightly better. Our parking was waived due to this complaint but the whole parking situation was difficult as there were no parking spaces available later on in the evening and several cars that had parked were occupying 2 parking spots! So there was no control with parking. And right down the street, it’s a ton of homeless. We didn’t feel safe going out at night. The next morning(Sunday) we had breakfast around 7:30am and the breakfast items were very cold. We booked thinking it was the ideal place to celebrate our anniversary but it was disappointing for the high room rate paid.

We had a wonderful stay - a beautiful corner room! We enjoyed the free breakfast buffet and the pool was a hit with my little one!
