The property well kept, the stuff is very helpful, breakfast was very good, the location of the hotel is excellent

The staff are amazing in being so helpful and wanting to assist with your needs. The room was beautiful and spacious compared to the room we had on the river cruise. The breakfast had a wonderful selection of hot choices as well as fresh meats and fruits. The only downside to this hotel was the pool area, there were no staff available in the area and there were used towels left from the morning that were not picked up from the cleaning services.

We arrived early at the Hotel and they offered to let us check in 3 hours early. Staff were amazing and brought the luggage up to the room for us and were very helpful throughout the stay. The room was amazing very clean and spacious. Great location right by the Parliament Building. The hotel is also very accessible for those in Wheelchairs and very accommodating.

Great breakfast

Nice historical hotel with nice large rooms. This hotel has the ability to be a 5 star but just missed the mark. Poor evening dining experience, and the bar and bar help needs improvement. The breakfast is very good in a gorgeous ballroom, previously Queen Elizabeth “Sisi” of Hungary“ “Sisi’s Ballroom”. Here it is they have this historic palace where the Empress of Austria lived but yet chooses to put evening dining in a bar off the reception with poor wait staff and dining settings, when they have the ability to make a Michelin Star restaurant in “Sisi’s Restaurant” where they hold breakfast every morning. Otherwise, this hotel has wonderful rooms, in a great location, nice area of town, and somewhat close to grocery and other restaurants. It was a very good stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

No staff to help the luggage, we have to carry over 10 stairs in and out. The cleaning staff can’t communicate in English and throw away our personal stuff by accident..

The hotel was well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. However, the room was compact, limiting the seating area. Consequently, guests were required to sit on the bed to watch television. The bathroom was satisfactory, with impressive water pressure for the shower. Nevertheless, the drain was inadequate, causing water to overflow from the shower stall. To prevent flooding, guests had to manually control the water flow; turn it on and off several times during each showering. The buffet was located in a spacious ballroom. The food was excellent, but the menu was repetitive. The staff was generally helpful, except for an issue with the payment amount at the property. Expedia indicated a $86 charge, while the hotel charged $125 due to a decrease in the exchange rate. I booked the hotel four months ago, and the hotel should have honored my rate at the time of booking. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience was positive. While it may not be a five-star hotel, it is worth considering a four-star rating.
