This is a beautiful, elegant and unpretentious luxury resort & spa. The pools, grounds, spa & dining are immaculate! A five star experience. You must have a car and be comfortable driving swift back, narrow mountain roads to climb the 2,800 feet above Lake Lugano. Stunning!!

The staff was externally friendly and helpful. The restaurant had amazing views and the food was exceptional! The spa was wonderfully relaxing.

Evening meals tended to seem expensive.

The rooms were very spacious, especially if you had a lake view. Would’ve liked to spend more time on the balcony, unfortunately, the area was suffering a pretty brutal The only time we ate on the premises was in the bar. Had an absolutely wonderful club sandwich. Would recommend highly. Lastly, we really enjoyed the pool area. We were able to enjoy drinks and food as well.

We had an amazing experience with spa , incredible views and good breakfast. We received a bottle of local red wine as a VIP Expedia gift but free upgrades to room with a view on the lake was not available to us . The waiting staff were very friendly and the piano music in the evening felt very special . If the hotel provided coffee maker in the room it would make it even better.

Beautiful views above Lake Lugano and nice spa! A bit of a difficult drive up the hill to get there but worth it.

Celebrated my birthday with friends at the hotel with a long spa weekend. Relatively easy to get to- Lugano Station has plenty of taxis or uber availability if you don't want to wait for the bus. All the staff were lovely and very accommodating. Beautiful views and a lovely spa. Treatments were also great. The Bar/Bistro was particularly nice to unwind in to have a drink and get food.

The whole stay was wonderful. Exceeded expectations in every way. Food was amazing quality & reasonably priced. Breakfast had everything you need and so fresh. Views and spa facilities were incredible. Couldn’t recommend enough. I am gluten free and only had to tell the restaurant once. The next day they remembered, freshly made gluten free bread every day. Gluten free nibbles with drinks. Perfect. Massive shout out and thank you to Luca P who made our last meal so special. Very attentive and attention to deal was second to none. Thank you Kurhaus for the most amazing stay.
