Overall hotel stay was very nice, clean etc, location to Beach and Old town was very good, easy to get around We had breakfast on two mornings Staff were helpful with assisting me with Gluten Free options (as I am a celiac)

We loved this hotel! The room was clean and spacious with a nice comfortable bed. Being on the fifth floor, we were very handy for the roof terrace. Breakfast and meals were plentiful and high quality. All staff were pleasant and very helpful. This hotel was aLao ideally situated for us too, right in the heart of everything and handy for the old town and all its shops and restaurants or equally handy for the beach! We will be booking to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay, The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city and enjoy nearby attractions. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. Their hospitality and attention to detail were outstanding. A special thank you to Jeerah and Sara, whose service went above and beyond our expectations. They were always friendly, professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our experience memorable. We highly recommend the Obal Hotel and would gladly stay here again. If you’re looking for excellent service, comfort, good rooftop this is the place to stay.

Convenient for beach and old town. Clean, fresh room.

Beautiful hotel is excellent location close to both the beach and old town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pool area was very clean nice area for evening relaxation. Breakfast was slightly disappointing but plenty of local restaurants available.. (Brunchit 5 mins away was the best I have ever had!)

Absolutely loved our 9 day stay here. Staff were super helpful even got in touch in advance to offer helping arrange airport transport. Room cleaned daily and it was always spotless. Breakfast was included and had a good range so never felt like you had to have the same every day. Big thanks too for all the staff at the 360 rooftop bar who looked after us and kept us hydrated.

After staying at the hotel Cristobal then seeing the transformation and revamping which has taken place is an absolute WOW. Beautiful hotel, rooms spotless less clean. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The roof top pool is enough to dip your feet in when hot. The only downside we found was we had to wait until 11am for it to open and as there aren’t many sun-beds it became a bit of a dash to get a bed. Opening at 10am would be better but I’m guessing they are waiting for breakfast to finish and to staff it. The bar prices are very reasonable too. Definitely recommend a stay here it’s situated so central you are close by to everywhere.

Very nice hotel in a perfect location - beach a block to front; old town less than a block behind hotel!
