Great hosts! Perfect location. Clean and quiet and comfortable. Would stay here again if I return. Absolutely recommend!!

Great staff and location

This is a nicely done boutique-sized hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, including recommendations for the area and assistance offered as needed. The location is ideal.

You can stay at a Novotel and know exactly what you're going to get--a clean, character-less room. Or you can stay at Toscanelli Residenza and get a clean room full of character! Our room was on the top floor so we had to negotiate three locked doors, a very slow, quirky elevator, and several passageways, but our rooms were spacious, with marvelous views, a modern bathroom and helpful amenities like a small refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, list of great nearby restaurants, and lots of art books. The location, just across the street from the Pitti Palace, was perfect--within walking distance of all the sights but also removed from the worst of the crowds and noise. We did have trouble gaining entrance. The huge entry door is locked with no windows or bell. We were told to call to have the proprietor open for us but we were unable to reach him with our AT&T iPhones. Turns out we were supposed to use WhatsApp calling. That was the only glitch in what turned out to be a really wonderful experience.

Excellent location, super walkable! Customer service was excellent - very helpful while checking in and with all of our luggage. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Good location nice staff but on the weekends evening could be a little bit noisy from the downstairs restaurants

Convenient location albeit a little hard to find. Small but comfortable rooms with necessary amenities. Good pressure and hot water. Staff was wonderful. Would stay again

Wonderful stay. The hosts were so incredibly warm and welcoming and accommodated our luggage storage requests. The room was perfect, comfortable and well-appointed with beautiful peek-a-boo view. The location was amazing - a short walk to all attractions and right across the street from a palace.
