Check in was quick and easy. The staff was great. The Japanese style room was spacious.

Staff don’t speak English so a bit hard to communicate. Breakfast buffet was ok but dinner was excellent.

Beautiful resort style hotel. Everything you need onsite. Onsen was nice. The private onsen on the rooms deck was very nice. Nice staff. only food I had was at the cafeteria style restaurant they have. Very good food and reasonably priced

Excellent service, amenities and location in a beautiful part of Japan. Close to fantastic food and great for families or groups

Stayed in the cabin which includes a bath and a toilet--a rarity with these onsen type lodgings. The interior was large, with a functional kitchen. Not that you will need the kitchen since the restaurant serves good food at affordable prices. The surroundings are quaint and tranquil--hotel is situated in next to a rather large park. Used the place as a base for daisetsuzan.

Much more better than expected. Recommend in reasonable price. You can enjoy spring too.

It was a very comfortable stay. The cottage we syayed was in a stinning location. We took a walk early morning which was wonderful. Onsen was excellent and breakfast was superb. Staff were kind.

Surprising nice, clean and comfortable cottage for 5. The bed was a bit hard for me, but the rest of my family have no problem, just individual preference. Just 5mins walk from main building. Staff are polite and gave clear instruction on how to get to our cottage. The hot spring onsen was a plus, 3 indoor pool and 2 outdoor pool. We arrived after dinner and left before breakfast, so unable to comment on the food. I will book the cottage again if I am going to stay in Hanakagura again.
