Appears new renovated, very clean, nice smelling, staff was great, room was great. The only problem was you can hear every street noise, it’s like you are I. The middle of the street. Otherwise, really a great hotel.

I was disappointed by the hotel, considering the reviews were good. I think they're fake, or at least unreliable. The place is in bad shape, even though they tried to cover it with flashy decorations. For instance, the shelf in the shower was broken but left in place. The hotel is located somewhere between the rich area of Pacific Heights and the very poor and sometimes scary downtown area. The window in my room opened on a busy street and even with the windows shut, it remained noisy. Staff service was just ok. I was happy I only had to stay there one night.

Clean room but very small; breakfast is just pastries, tea, and coffee.

I wouldn’t stay at this hotel ever again . It isn’t dirty. But the pictures are misleading . It’s a very small room with no refrigerator or microwave . The restroom is right by the bed there isn’t a lot of space like the pictures show . The first night at 6 am they were I guess putting in new floor in the hotel room upstairs from us and we were woken up to banging on the floor for hours . I went to talk to front desk about it and he just offered to stop the maintenance instead of offering us a new room. The area it’s located in isn’t the best . At night we could hear people in the streets arguing and cussing . This hotel is just poorly managed and everything is bad quality from the bath towels to the air conditioning. Would never stay here again ,

An amazing budget friendly option for a short term stay. The staff were above and beyond and ensured you maximized your experience. While there as no gym and breakfast was minimal, the hotel had a cute boutique vibe that made it all worthwhile.

Good staff, good value, unpleasant part of town

We stayed overnight one night and the property is in need of significant maintenance. Our floor was buckling, the walls were paper thin (neighbors had a great night!) and the bed was years too old to be comfortable. Upon arrival, the one-way street to the parking garage was blocked off. Our attempts to call the hotel for guidance were unsuccessful as the phone was placed "off the hook" for the day due to too many spam calls received. We eventually found parking, but it started our stay off to a bad start. Although the room was inexpensive, $50 would have been well worth the stay somewhere else for a decent bed and not to hear the neighbors' fun all night.
