Not a worth place to stay

The room was very nice. We stayed there because it was advertised as lush gardens on the property. There was a lot of green bushes, but we did not see one flower when we were there! We expected it to be colorful with different plants and flowers, but that was not the case. No planters with flowers or anything. We are from Phoenix and our resorts here, even with the heat, have extensive color and foliage. It was disappointing🙁. Would not stay here again unless they would work on their landscaping.

We stayed at Rancho Bernardo Inn for a 4th of July package and overall it didn’t meet expectations. The property looks very upscale online, but in reality it feels more like an older condo-style resort with dated rooms. Our room had a few issues patio lights didn’t work, the shower handle was loose, and there was no microwave with a very small fridge. The rooms could definitely use updating. The main pool is small, though the adults-only pool is much nicer. For the 4th of July stay, there was no real celebration atmosphere no music or entertainment besides kids movie playing. A BBQ was offered, but at $22 per plate it felt overpriced. Overall, it didn’t feel like a premium resort experience for the price. We wouldn’t stay again and would likely choose a beachfront hotel in San Diego instead.

WiFi didn’t work. Phones didn’t work. Unless I was missing something, nothing wasn’t going well as aspected.

A bit old facility. Good golf course. Food is just regular golf club house meals.
