We always choose to stay at the Sumner Hotel whenever we visit London because of its excellent location, which provides easy access to all the attractions and amenities of central London. The surrounding neighbourhood is vibrant and lively, with a fantastic selection of bars, cafés, and restaurants right on the doorstep. The staff are always friendly, professional, and helpful. The only area that could be improved is the accommodation itself. While the rooms are comfortable, they feel somewhat dated and would benefit from refurbishment and modernisation. Despite this, the hotel’s outstanding location and excellent service ensure that it remains our preferred choice whenever we stay in London.

Continental breakfast was really good.

Tile in Bathroom broken with sharp edges,dangerous could cut feet. Extremely small shower not easy for an82 year old. The first night was extremely cold and night desk manager did not tell us how to use the covered old water radiator when we called down to ask for portable heater. We were only told the next morning.

Petit hôtel à proximité des transports, des magasins, près de Hyde Park. Personnel aimable, attentif et serviable. Chambre grande mais demanderait a être "rafraîchie"

Nice friendly people, but room neded a little TLC. One shade broken, bed light switch broken (had to unplug each night), water seeped up in grout around toilet. Breakfast was minimal English Breakfast.

Excellent location for adventuring through London, very close to the Marble Arch, Hyde Park, etc. Breakfast Attendant was very friendly and helpful. She remembered what we liked every morning and brought it right over to us.

Hotel staff friendly and room clean. Had 1st floor and was extremely bright in the room at night. Did have to wear eye mask to try to sleep. Maybe it was our location on the 1st floor but the room was aslo loud as you heard people walking throught the hardwood floors during the night.

Room was clean and comfortable. Location worked great for my needs. Staff is kind and helpful. Good breakfast and good coffee.

Very helpful staff. Great value for the location.
