The desk staff were wonderful- we had issue with our booking - after terrible drive and feeling frustrated they comforted us in a lounge area, provided drinks and sorted out the problem for us. They even upgraded our room which was lovely. Great view, beautiful setting and people. So ideally located in Viaduct. Only small negative balcony was large but needed a good clean - grout of tiles was stained. The view made up for it though. 😊

Absolutely great location, 5 minutes' walk from the ferries and 5 or 10 minutes' walk to anything (restaurants, bars, tours) in Central Business District Auckland. Incredible breakfast surrounded by windows to enjoy sunrise and harbor. Excellent staff that help us deal with minor annoyance of neighboring room illegally smoking in room - special thanks to Manager Mr. Kim who fully engaged to correct the issue. Would recommend room on the non-ferry side (west side) as the ferries do blow their horns during daylight hours when arriving and if backing up to dock. If you want the view of the harbor, you can always visit the lounge area or dining facilities. If you defer housekeeping for a day or two, you will also receive a 10 NZD credit that's good at the bar or Hilton's dining. Staff was always top notch and helpful.

Fabulous place to stay right in the middle of Auckland. Very pleased. Our cruise ship was berthed right out the front of our room.

Great breakfast selection, room view was great and check in process was smooth. Only complaint is the bathroom shower needs renovating

The hotel has an amazing view and beautiful scenery, and it’s very close to everything. The breakfast and staff were excellent. I just wish it also had an indoor pool.

Very nice hotel with world class views

We organised a one-night staycation and were unfortunately disappointed with the overall condition of the room. The couch was stained and overall cleanliness was terrible, the furniture felt outdated, and there was no dining table in the suite we booked. To make matters worse, the bathtub drainage wasn’t working properly, and the toilet flush button was also faulty. It was clear that the property hasn’t been maintained to the standard expected. The hotel looks impressive in the booking photos, but our experience did not reflect a true five-star level of quality. Sadly, based on this stay, I wouldn’t consider it a five-star experience.
