Everything functioned but you can see it is starting to show its age. One elevator worked and was slow at times and in certain places the wallpaper and paint were peeling in places. Still awesome for the price and location.

Nothing wrong with the staff, it’s what they have to work with that’s the problem. There are two elevators, but only one works and the lone person at the front desk has to constantly run around to “call” the elevator for guests as the call button doesn’t always work. We had a “suite” that hasn’t been updated since the 1980’s and it showed. The A/C struggled to cool the room (it was in the 90’s outside). You have to duck to get your head under the shower. Lots of chips, cracks, stains, etc that show the places age. The toilet also ran every 20 minutes and not all the lights worked. Then there was the neighbors. 2am screaming and yelling and banging on their door during a dispute. This last one is not the hotels fault, but just the icing on the cake. Time to recapitalize and spend a few dollars to make this place what it used to be.

The elevator took forever to arrive

While I overnighting in Baltimore, I had the fine experience of staying in a hotel on the Harbor by Harborplace, Pier 5, which is also it's location, all in wonderful shape, clean as a whistle, and great accomodations on the Harbor. Great rooms, beautiful artwork in the lobby and throughout the hotel. It's got it all, including 2 top national steak and seafood restaurants on either side of it. I've got a new place to stay in Baltimore now. And super reasonable as well!!!

Great stay clean and convenient to shops and restaurants. Will definitely go back.

The hotel is very clean and well kept! Do to the large atrium it was a bit warm, but had fans to help regulate temperature! Location couldn’t have been any better, easy access to restaurants, attractions and shopping! I didn’t expect cleaning service every day, but was glad to have it! Complimentary water was a bonus as there was a excessive heat warning every day I was there!

The room was clean and the staff was nice. There’s only chef special breakfast for $19.95.
