The hotel was really nice and the staff were exceptional, especially the two gentlemen that I encountered each day in the café. The heated pool with the sea water was one of the best that I've been in. The beach is very rocky so I did not get in. We did get stuck in the elevator twice and the bathrooms showed signs of being very worn. Overall, I had a nice time. The staff experience was better than the room experience for me.

Be ready to maneuver around families with small children. Especially at breakfast.

First let me say how wonderful the staff was - in particular the conciergerie, the front door staff, the breakfast staff, and the staff in the cabana/beach area - they really went above and beyond to make my wife and I’s special occasion even more special - the bouquet in the room was magnificent. However, despite the grand treatment we received, we were a bit disappointed in the room - it had a wonderful view and a nice bed, but considering that we paid a good deal extra for the tower room, it failed to deliver - it really needed a good overhaul - old paint, holes n the desk and doors, lots of mildew in the bathroom, and worst of all, poor drainage in the shower meant that every time we took a shower, it flooded the entire bathroom and we were lucky it did not spill into the room. So all that to say - great and attentive staff but the room really was not worth the money.

Le Méridien Beach Plaza is an excellent choice for families, especially if you’re traveling with kids. The private beach was the highlight of our stay and was perfect for my 11- and 14-year-old. We only had breakfast at the hotel, but it was excellent, with a great selection and quality. The bar has a nice atmosphere, though I was disappointed there weren’t any TVs since I visited during the World Cup. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. I would definitely recommend this property to families who want easy access to the beach. However, if your priority is being in the heart of Monaco’s restaurants, shopping, and nightlife, you may prefer staying closer to the city center. Monaco doesn’t have Uber, and the local taxi app can sometimes struggle to find available drivers. The walk to the center isn’t bad, but during the heatwave we experienced it was uncomfortable during the day. Thankfully, evenings were much cooler, making the walk much more enjoyable.

Roof was leaking in our room. Manager changed to another room that had poor air conditioning and we needed a fan. Fan they provided was extremely noisy and disrupted our sleep.

Nice hotel with a pool and private beach. The buffet breakfast was very good.

The hotel’s set up and location were perfect. Beach is idyllic and peaceful. Pool was lovely. Service was amazing. Overall great value, especially compared to other properties in Monte Carlo. Rooms and furniture are a bit dated, but clean and comfortable, so barely a critique. Will definitely come back.

Top notch property with outstanding services. The view of the bay and the Mediterranean is spectacular. Convenient within walking distance of many great restaurants. We would stay here again.
