The hotel is in a good location, but unfortunately our stay was affected by a maintenance issue. The curtain above our bed had fallen down, and we reported it first thing in the morning. We were told it would be repaired after 3:30 pm that day. When we checked with reception around 5:00 pm, we were informed that the handyman had already left for the day and the curtain would not be fixed. As a result, we had a very poor night's sleep. At this time of year, the sun sets late and rises early, and without a functioning curtain the room became very bright, making it difficult to sleep.

Very nice property and well kept. Breakfast was awesome! What a buffet variety with fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses etc… super nice. Zakopane is a really nice town. The main shopping area is super cute. Love the chalet style buildings and houses. Very clean.

Lots of really good things to say about Gold Hotel. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were wonderful. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel with professional nice stuff

This was a lovely hotel with a great restaurant! Room we stayed in was very big with a cute little balcony but bed was very small. I think this website lists that there is no lift but there is one which was a nice surprise. There is a spa/jacuzzi but you can only use it between 17.00-22.00 and you have to pay to use it outside of that! It’s not really close to town but there are a couple of restaurants within a very short walk and a bus stop too!

I’d give 5, but there was essentially no water pressure. They need to get that issue resolved.
