A great place to say if you travel to the southeast of Iceland. We had dinner in the hotel which was really good.

The room was exceptionally clean and surprisingly modern despite the building's age. The staff were awesome—friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would gladly recommend this place to others.

I booked the wrong month for my trip but they were really nice about it.

Room was clean, tidy and a reasonable size. Staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we got the room closest to the main entrance so we got a lot of noise / banging of the hotel main entrance door which was annoying. It also felt like we were in a fishbowl and people could easily look into our room. No TV in room which was disappointing - only stay in Iceland which hasn't had that. Location was okay, not a lot nearby. Not many options for restaurants nearby, one on site is okay but expensive and has a small menu. Good breakfast but cannot take any food away for sandwiches which was disappointing.

Our most expensive stay, given the limited options in Skaftafell. Not worth the money. The property is pretty rundown. No screen on the window to keep out bugs and noise in the hallway/adjacent rooms was an issue.

Wonderful hotel space, but has a kitchenet, more like an apartment as they call themselves. Grocery on the first floor. Plenty of street parking. Centrally located for shopping street and most sites. East walls to many location.

Upon arriving we realized it was situated directly beside a graveyard. The location behind it is nice tho.. mountainous. Breakfast was below average and the room had 1 window that faced what I can only imagine was a staff area between the building. For close to $400 a night we expected more. Staff were friendly and the room was clean.

Room was quiet, bed was comfortable, good breakfast, convenient location.

Nous avons loué une chambre double, de base avec salle de bain privée. La chambre était grande et confortable pour deux personnes. Nous avons très apprécié le petit frigo dans la chambre. Seul bémol, ça l'aurait pu être un petit peu plus propre, mais sinon c'était super. La nourriture au buffet du matin est excellente.

The staff were all very nice and helpful doubling as bartenders and servers if need be. Dinner was excellent and the included breakfast was good and plentiful. The setting was pastoral. The room and bath were smaller but sufficient, clean, and comfortable.
