Great spot to stay. Lol be mindful of the elevation gain up to the main city of Assisi from the property! Do-able if you are in good shape. Staff was super kind and helpful with the crib for our daughter. He gave us a map of Assisi and highlighted key spots for us to visit! Definitively need to brush up on my Italian!

Excellent location for anyone visiting Assisi. Easy to find and directly off the main road. Would definitely recommend.

perfect stay

It was a wonderful stay at La Piaggia in Assisi. A warm welcome, excellent communication and service from the host. Many thanks for helping with the heavy luggage up the stairs. The location is ideal for visiting Assisi on foot. Lots of parking space. Peaceful garden. Nice restaurant across the street. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and plenty. The room was very comfortable and spotless. Many thanks from all our hearts.

Such a lovely spot, set in olive groves at the foot of the western edge of the hilltown of Assisi, just below the Bascilicas of San Francesco. Wonderful communication from the host, sparkling clean, easy access. Right across the road is the pedestrian road (climb!) up to the basilicas and town. Good exercise! Also right next to a gravel road that meanders through the valley, for flat walks. I loved staying at La Piaggia.

Walking distance to Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi. Cheese, meat, pastries, cereals & coffees served for breakfast. Small rooms with updated bathrooms & immediate hot water. Had everything we needed.
