It was a lovely hotel right in the downtown area and super convenient. Hotel was not full when we stayed there at all, but was still given a room facing away from the water without any offer of an upgrade (as other hotels have typically done). Breakfast buffet was excellent. Was a definitely nice experience.

I found the hotel looking for a hotel
In Forte dei Marmi.
The hotel is really far from Forte and the area has nothing to do with Forte dei Marmi
Portovenere is only one block with nothing to do for tourists
The hotel is old , and is a 3 stars hotel

I booked this hotel through expedia for 4 nights. The hotel is nice, our room was comfotable and clean. I would have given them 4 stars however we had to check out early due to a personal matter and the hotel refused to refund us saying it was up to expedia to reimburse us and when I contacted Expedia, they told us its up to the hotel to reimburse us. Having said that, it left a bad taste with us and won't be staying here or using expedia again.
