Clean, modern, convenient (with a/C!!)

Hotel is very centrally located in the old town, an easy walk with luggage to the station, and right on top of two large supermarkets, Coop and Migros. The excellent air-conditioning was much appreciated during one of the recent heatwaves. The room was quite compact - we were told it was an upgrade to a business room - but it was fine for a night or two, with a refridgerator and TV.

Rooms were small but fine. Clean. Great location.

Centrally located, this was a well-appointed, comfortable hotel which exceeded our expectations. It’s only shortcoming was most of the branding was “Hotel Bern” rather than Best Western. Once we worked that out, everything went smoothly. It was a great spot to base ourselves for exploring Bern.

The hotel overall was really nice. Our suite on the 6th floor was good but a little tight for 3 people. The a/c in the room was not getting cold. We had to get a fan. The vent in the bathroom did not work so it made the room even hotter. Breakfast was good and the location was amazing.

Excellent room, staff

Easy to walk to from the railway station and central to all the things we wanted to do in Bern. Welcoming staff and a very tidy room. We really enjoyed it. Three things to note: 1. The shower and toilet are behind reeded glad that can't be fully covered by the room dividers - you're always going to be a little "on display" in there 2. The lighting provides ambience. It isn't bright. 3. A bottle of still water and a bottle of dialing water in the fridge every day! And lemon water in the foyer. Greatly appreciated in the heat!

Clean room and hotel. Our room AC wasn’t working. The first night after we called from our room, we were told there was nothing we could do. The second night, we went to the front desk and there they stated it probably wasn’t working and changed our room. Much better! The size is what is expected. Location is excellent to discover Bern by foot and or public transportation.

This hotel was a great find in the heart of Bern! The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Air conditioning was a huge plus! The bathroom is spacious and had a great shower! The hotel is within walking distance of old town, with plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. You can easily explore the city on foot from this location, or by taking the tram. There is a tram in town that is super easy to take...make sure to ask the front desk for a free pass. There is no on site parking, but it is an easy walk to get your car.
