A great hotel with friendly staff. The room was perfect, with a comfy bed and facilities. The bathroom was lovely with a good shower. The location was great, only 15-18 minute walk from Paris Gare du Nord, great shops (lots of unique ones), bars and restaurants. Close to the Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur. On Saturdays there is a lovely antique/vintage market in walking distance too. Thanks to the hotel for making it really special for my daughter’s birthday by putting balloons up as a surprise.

When driving to the hotel from CDG, I wasn’t so sure we’d made the right choice. However, once we got in the door I knew it was going to be the best hotel in Paris in years. Amin greeted us and told us he had upgraded our stay. He gave us the standard info and we went to the room - 9th floor ( only room on the floor) suite with a double balcony AND a sauna! It was unbelievable. We were only there for the night and my wife wanted to walk around Montmarte- an area she had not yet seen in our 3 previous visits. We hated to leave the next morning. The suite was fantastic, the morning breakfast was excellent and the courtesy of the staff was the best. Again, I can’t thank Amin and the staff at Mercure enough for making our one night stopover in Paris the best.

We were very disappointed that the hotel did not have a public terrace with view of the Eiffel Tower. The listing images suggested that, and you had to read the small print to see that the advertised view was from a bedroom balcony. This was not clear and we booked the property because it has a terrace and fantastic view. Please can you amend the listing to make this clear. And do we get any compensation for our disappointment?

Had a lovely stay in Paris. Our room was snug but served us well for three nights. We had a lovely balcony with a view of the Eiffel Tower which was stunning both during the day and at night! Breakfast was ok for a continental - they had gluten free things for me! Staff were friendly and helpful, very welcoming and were available 24/7. Our only slight comment would be that the toilet flush wasn’t great and the shower didn’t properly seal at the bottom, but these were minor and certainly didn’t take away from a beautiful weekend in Paris

The hotel was small and had a personal feel to it. There was someone available 24/7. Great security measures for your safety. Located in an awesome “neighborhood “ if you will - shops, sight and cafes. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Really good location on the Monmart district close to metro stops several bars and attractions and even walkable to Gare De Nord although this dose take 15-20 minutes. Welcomed by polite reception staff and when we got to room had welcome biscuits and walter along with a greeting note. Room was slightly small in size but well decerated and clean. A good bathroom and shower. No milk provided with the in room tea and coffee. Beds were comfortable but still had winter bed sheets on so made the room hot despite air con. Some of the black soft furnishings made plug sockets hard to find. Lifts only take 400kg so bare that ib mind if have large bags. Gym is ok in the basement floor with s rowing machine that makes you feel like you are actually on the river which is unique. Did need some more equipment though but was good to see they had provuded dried fruits cerial bars and water for post work out. Breakfast was continental and a good selection but space limited as in the same room as reception For a one night stay this was a good hotel

My room was very nice and slept very well as it was quiet despite hotel being on a busy street and area. I would suggest for them to have the minimum necessary toiletries like body cream, shower cap etc as there was nothing and all hotels in this price range provide that.

It was 41 degrees and the hotel air conditioning was well up to the task. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The reception folks gave us glasses of ice upon request. Handy to a few different metro stations and lots of restaurants within walking distance.

La chambre a été très petite. On ne pouvait pas bouger facilement. Il n’y avait pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre, ce qui n’est pas normal pour un hôtel 4 étoiles. Le réfrigérateur est même offert dans les hôtels 3 étoiles.

It was a great hotel and the area was great too.
