Very convenient location (only a couple of minutes of walking from the central station). Excellent breakfast! Very friendly staff.

First the positive about this apartment building converted into a hotel: excellent, central location, nice decor, and great breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, three key elements that make for a standard hotel room were missing: Wi-Fi signal didn’t go beyond one bar and mostly didn’t connect at all; wall mounted television was unplugged with the power outlet 2 meters up the wall with no way to reach it; the shower, even after letting it run for five minutes plus did not provide anything beyond tepid temperature. The room was extremely warm despite the two wall heaters being turned off. I really wanted to like this place more, but unfortunately can’t give it more than two stars.

Very good Breakfast, pleasant and welcoming staff here. Hotel located in a quiet street only a few minutes from main train station, River and old town bars and restaurants about a 10 minute walk. Would definitely recommend staying at this Hotel.

Kind and friendly staff, spotlessly clean room.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but fairly small. Unfortunately all I could heal all night was the footsteps of the guests in the room above me, which sounded a bit like they were part of the Riverdance crew.

It was very hot during our stay in Koln - over 38C. There was no air-conditioning and no lift. so getting up the stairs to the unit was a challenge. There was a fan which operated all night and the window was wide open - noise was less of a problem than heat. The hotel was well located near the Central Station, which was important as we were travelling by train. The station also provided access to some shopping for drinks etc. The main shopping centre was within walking distance.

It’s just 250m from the main station, meaning you hear trains all night long. If you are a light sleeper, don’t book this one.

Only got myself a small room, but it was very well situated near the main train station. There are some great restaurants nearby and it's a brief stroll to the cathedral. Breakfast was a treat, classic german-style buffet with eggs cooked to order.
