Great place to stay for location to downtown St. John's and also for families. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Quiet and best of all an amazing pool and watersides for the kids to have fun on. We will definitely be back.

There was no hot water for >12 hours. When requested, we were given a free breakfast at Mario’s (who were terribly understaffed).

The most disappointing part of the stay for us was the reduced hours of the waterslides. We specifically chose a hotel with waterslides for our children, but the slide is reduced hours of 2-9, and it was closed at around 5:30 on the day of our stay. We hadn’t expected the slide hours to be less than the pool hours, so we had some very disappointed children sadly.

Room clean, breakfast was great options at restaurant at hotel.

For starters there was no hot water available in the room, either in the sink or the shower. The fridge did not work, and the phone in the room had no cable, so was not functional. At breakfast the restaurant was understaffed with servers who appeared not to know their job. We informed staff we were in a hurry but did not get drinks for 30 mins, and our breakfast arrived after 50 minutes, just as we had to leave. They also got our orders mixed up and brought my wife - who is celiac - a gluten breakfast that she could not eat. When my wife needed to leave on her own with five bags, she was offered no help with the trolley. She then asked to leave her bags with the hotel, who put them in an unlocked office. Once it came time to leave, once again the front office staff offered no assistance with bags. Finally while the water slides in the pool area were fun, the pool itself was very cold and my kids could not bear to swim in it.

The hotel had the worst internet connectivity I've experiences while travelling. I had to go to the lobby to get to get connected as connectivity in my room was extremely spotty.

Hair in the shower, on the balcony was bathing suits from previous guest so it was obvious that cleaners didn’t pay attention to that… the price per night was expensive and no breakfast included

Staff=great Heat blew up behind the curtain and didn't really enter the room. The pillows were tiny. The stay was, ok.

Over priced,but everyone is gouging these days. Clean rooms,clean pool and gym. Helpful staff. East Side Mario very clean. Understaffed only because nobody wants to work anymore. Over worked staff did a great job and food was hot and very good.
