a good stay

The hotel was located in a dark sky area. The hot water for half the hotel is by individual unit and the aystem is old so we tan out of water during our first shower. The non-rehabbed room are much in need of an upgrade.

There's a lot of work going on at the moment so be aware of construction noise. Only stayed one night but it was bizarre. They have recently changed the room numbers but haven't altered the signs to direct you to them. There are no lifts and a fair few stairs if have heavy luggage. The workmen severed the wifi cable and after having already unpacked, was moved to the other side of the hotel to get a connection. This room was much better than the dated one on the other side but the sliding bathroom door wouldn't close. Lots of little new renovation niggles for them. The building is also a bit of a maze so get your bearings. The staff were very friendly and it's in a handy spot just off the main through road. The town is just a few minutes drive away. The room was clean and tidy. They don't skimp on the heating either. Bed was very comfy. Just visited at a bad time I think.

Clean room , friendly staff, wonderfull breakfast spread!

Clean modern room in a quaint location

Price too high. Compared to the others, not worthy.

Lovely room, great bathroom

Great service, clean

What a great hotel!

Staff were fantastic and accommodated requests such as cutlery / salt&pepper. Only decent place in Twizel and handy distance to Mount cook. Property was a bit dated.
