Nice and clean, had a very pleasant stay

Staff and location are absolutely amazing. Hotel itself is unusual being in an old heritage building that adds to the experience. The deluxe room is super comfortable, spacious and clean. Stayed off the Main Street side and was super quiet. Be sure to use the gym and pool amenities of their sister hotel called the Clan. A stunning space and great views.

Generally very good, however, it would seem if you have any requests outside the general ordinary then it struggles; for example I contacted them via Hotels.com app and was generally ignored. Eventually I did get in contact with someone. At the hotel though, the staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful and couldn't help you enough. I really liked that upon checkout you can store your bags, and if you want can use the shower facilities to freshen up - do not stop doing this, a brilliant feature that I've never came across before. Options such as a late checkout or something would be nice though too

Room was very run down

We had to change our length of stay from 2 nights to 1, due to our flights being cancelled (Middle East crisis) I contacted the hotel 6 days prior to arrival who have (so far) refused a refund for 1 nights stay . When asked for an early check in they wanted to charge an extra sgd 480 we are already paying for an extra night when we aren’t staying at the hotel. Very frustrating. Reception staff were friendly and helpful though. The room was ok but no hot water for a shower and the air conditioning unit was very noisy. The building needs an upgrade or redecoration. The bed was comfy though! We have stayed previously at The Clan (sister hotel) which was much nicer.

What a great find! Staff were wonderful and really helpful and knowledgeable. Really convenient location next to the metro which we hadn’t thought we’d use but it was SO easy, fast and clean. Had what was described as a cosy single room but it was ideal. Great A/C! No food served on site but just a minute walk undercover for breakfast. Would definitely recommend the AMOY.
