The hotel is fairly new and is kept very clean. Easy arrival, pleasant welcome, easy checkin and access to room. Rooms are what you would expect from a City Express although we found this bed more comfortable than usual. The swimming pool has sun during the day so the water was warm - more so than many other hotel pools in Tuxtla. Also it was clean in the pool and around the pool area, with comfortable seating. Breakfast was sufficient although not quite as many options as we have experienced in other City Express hotels. This will be one of our top choices to stay in Tuxtla and the price is reasonable along with the amenities. Also it is next door to San Juan Leñero which means we will go for dinner there next time! And has easy access off the highway.

Reception was very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable

I was disappointed with my stay. There was no internet available during the first few hours after checking in, which was really inconvenient as I needed to get some work done. On top of that, the front desk staff seemed unfriendly and not very helpful, and the room phone didn’t work at all throughout my stay. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re travelling for business, as it lacks the basic services you’d reasonably expect.
