Amazing thank you so much for the service

We visited Kurumba 12 years ago so this was a return to 'paradise'. The welcome at the airport and transfer to the resort by speedboat was efficient and hassle free, however it did cost $324 for the two of us, something we did not discover until a couple of days before arrival. The Kurumba has a wide range of facilities from the Spa to the glass bottomed boat and tennis courts and in that respect it lives you up its 5* rating. However as occupancy rates were down the specialist restaurants were only open for a couple of days a week, it would have been helpful to have been told this when we arrived. Our beachside bungalow was as ideal as expected although it did look a bit tired. All the staff were very professional, welcoming and attentive. I was particularly impressed with the guys who were constantly cleaning the beaches and common grounds, also the nightly singer was very good and entertaining. The noise of sea planes taking off from Male for the islands was however somewhat intrusive and not as we remembered. Overall we had a very good and enjoyable stay.

The room is very clean, it has a balcony facing the beach. We like the set up of the room, bathroom has separate shower room and toilet and a bath tub in the middle, 2 separate sinks and in an open air. Lighting is very good. Breakfast has a lot of food options, delicious. Staffs are welcoming, attentive, friendly and courteous. The airport transfers is safe using big ferry boat. It was our first time in Maldives and staying within the Atoll was a good idea because it is close to the airport and an exclusive resort. Highly recommended.

The general manager is very nice and warm. Really like the stay as the staff made us feel at home. Hope to visit Kurumba again. Thanks for the excellent service.

Comfortable relaxing stay with nice atmosphere which fitted what we needed on what was a last-minute stay. Would say that the room and beach area could be a little cleaner - old bottle tops were on the ground around the plants in our outside bathroom, and old cups and cigarette trays were still under the bushes around our nearest sunbathing area from previous guests.

Enjoyed a week of rest and relaxation at this resort. Lovely staff, friendly and helpful. Beautiful villa on the ocean. Loved having assigned chairs at the beach directly in front of my villa. Nice options at the buffet. The lobby bar is a plus, comfortable furniture to lounge in day and night. Great bar menu and live music at night.

The hotel was exceptional. The airport is the next island so plane noise was constant, but didn’t really bother us. The beach water is clear but not swimming depth Perfect for kayak because water is so calm.

Everything about this resort was spectacular from the staff to the amenities, etc. However, what really stood out to me was the quality of the food. Every meal was tasty, well seasoned, and fresh and every dish was constantly replenished. Ice cream instead of a welcome drink was very "cool";-) and my taste buds were pleasantly delighted with the cardamom crème brûlée!
