So much was wrong. They failed to pick us up from the airport. We were there for 3 days and 2. The first room smelled (the covers, bedding, and rug). The toilet couldn’t flush properly. The in-room phone didn’t work. They didn’t answer the WhatsApp number. So, every time there was an issue we had to send our kid to the main building to speed with the receptionist. They came to fix it twice. It did not remain fixed. I had a hard time sleeping. We were moved to another room it was decent. It was better maintained. They tried to make amends for some things but giving us a free dessert, a beer, and a free round of drinks. We didn’t use the pool because there was a ton more dirt at the bottom. We understand that it happens given the sandy area, but we didn’t trust it. The continental breakfast was not good. Stale pastry, fried eggs, and some other things. Good things: Dinner was good. They had a delicious salad, pizza, and burger. They scheduled a wonderful guide, car, and driver for two days for only $150. It was a really good deal and old guide. I have a family of 5. So, my kids were looking forward to the pool and resort feel. It was a miss

Howard Carter Hotel - what a find. Read all reviews and wasn't disappointed. From the very outset, we had a small issue with our room and was moved the next day into another room with no hesitation. We didn't like to complain as everyone at the hotel was so lovely and accommodating. Mr Said the owner who would always come around at meal times to make sure everything was to our liking. The Chefs worked so hard to deliver lovely dishes. The waiters were so accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. Ahmed and Ahmed and the lad and the gentleman at breakfast (apologies I couldn't remember their names). There was a great varied menu at dinner. Breakfast was plentiful and a lovely touch with the miniature pancakes everyday. My husband didn't care for pancakes so I ate his as well. Yummy !! The view from both our rooms was fantastic of the Nile and Pool. The Pool was clean and well kept. The hotel staff also cared about our wellbeing as whoever was picking us up would have to complete their details etc. for our security. We would definitely be back when the time is right. Best kept secret on the Nile! While a little off the beaten path, that's also what makes this place so appealing. My kids didn't want to leave. Great breakfast, immaculate pool, phenomenal service. 100% recommend.

Staff were great, a very nice family run hotel. Location is good for West Bank. However the road to hotel was not easy if driving.

This is a great spot! It’s located on the West Bank, away from the hustle and bustle. We used the transfer service the hotel offered which was on-time and very reasonably priced. The hotel itself is super! Immaculate! They have a pool, bar area where they serve beer, wine and some spirits. The restaurant was very good as well. They have pizza and burgers, if that’s your liking. We went for the set menu offer which included local mezze, soup, a main (Egyptian or International), and a dessert. All were great. (They also grow a lot of their own fruits and vegetables on site). After dinner we enjoyed some shisha. All of this and a bottle of wine was less than $100 CAD dor two people. Can’t say enough about this place!

Beautiful hotel

The food, the service, and the willingness of the entire staff to help were truly outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel.

Clean, excellent staff. Great pool . A little out of the way, but only a small charge in a Tuk Tuk to the ferry (100)

Clean room and very helpful staff. Mr Khaled prepared me a herbal tea that fixed my cold. Very kind people.
