The entrance to check in was not obvious from the outside when we arrived and the hotel is isolated in its location. However, staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good.

Beautiful hotel rooms are well kept and in excellent condition.
The food in the bowes incline is the best around I could have stayed at a relatives house but wanted to eat and have a drink here - delicious!

The parking is good but would benefit from a couple of electric charge points being added. Great staff and nice clean rooms. As per my last stay, the room was stone cold and even though there is a radiator, you can’t control the heating within the room. There also should be a bottle of water in the room. Quite nice evening meal and a OK breakfast.
