No hot water and the windows cannot open when the room gets hot. Breakfast was good.

We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel itself is set within a beautiful listed building with lovely gardens, which gave it a lot of charm and character.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options available, including fresh fruit, cereals, toast, and hot food. There was something for everyone and the quality was very good.
Our room was comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The room did not have air conditioning, which made it quite warm at times, and unfortunately the bathroom had a strong damp smell which was quite unpleasant.
Despite these issues, we still enjoyed our stay and appreciated the character of the hotel and the quality of the breakfast.

Grounds need a lot of work. Wasn’t impressed when we had a group of 15 stay for dinner and drinks and we were yelled at because there was 1 dessert put on the table that no one wanted and therefore not willing to pay for.
Also the tub in the bathroom is far too high to step into. Very dangerous.
Food was good however.

On entering room.. toilet lid off & stood next to toilet on the floor & bin in bedroom contained someone's pink false nails!!
Obviously not clean or maintained. Reported to reception & had a standard reply of " I'll inform maintenance" doesn't really address the issues WE experienced did it!

Hotel was clean, room service was great. Room has everything you need in your trip.
Staff was friendly and offered help with luggage.
Breakfast was simply the best.

低於平均 The hotel is OK but looking very tired. I opted for the Executive room which didn't match the description on Hotels.com. When checking with reception I was advised that the room I was in was correct, which it definitely wasn't. As it was late in the day I didn't have the energy to debate. In the morning I discovered my shower didn't work as the heat adjustment knob was broken so after wasting 15 minutes I had to run a bath. When mentioning to the lady on reception she wasn't bothered and just asked if I was checking out today??? Overall it was OK, not great though and I won't be returning.

Lovely to have the garden view and to be on the ground floor as there is no lift. Very peaceful location at a reasonable price. My first choice when I stay in Redditch.
