杜蘭特酒店 (Maison Durante)

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station. However, the quality of the room was not what I was expecting for the price paid. The floorboards in my room were buckling and warped, which also meant it was very difficult to close the bathroom door. The air conditioning also was not very effective (which presumably they know as there was a fan left in my room too) not sure if that was confined to my room or all rooms.

The hotel is quiet and the room lovely on a beautiful courtyard. The bed is splendid. The room is much larger than the norm. It is bright and clean. The wooden floors are hypoallergenic. We absolutely adore this hotel. They gave us a generous late checkout. Well done!!

Hotel room very small and mattress was very hard.

This is a great small quiet hotel tucked away, 15 minutes walk to the water front with a beautiful courtyard. I cannot commend the staff highly enough, they were so patient and helpful, special shout out to Emma who was just a joy! I do think the rooms would benefit from some further love and attention. The curtain needed rehanging and the handles on the wardrobe were missing. These are small things but would have made a better impact on arrival. We only ate breakfast there on our last day but they were very attentive with good home cooked options on request. Overall, a nice small hotel which I would recommend although not in the centre "of the action".

Pleasant, calm, elegant and conveniently located hotel. The room was spacious, bright and nicely decorated. Coffee machine was nice but a mini fridge would have been appreciated. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Maintenance and cleaning need to be improved: while we didn’t notice anything alarming, things like air exhausts in the bathroom, grouts in the shower, limescale in the toilet and window mechanisms needed attention. The AC unit also produced an unpleasant smell and didn’t run efficiently but the staff told us this would be addressed. Overall, we had a mostly positive experience.

Location close to centre; beautiful garden, individualised breakfast

This small hotel was ideally located close to the train station, but without any noise. I had a bright, extremely clean room with a French balcony that opened to a charming interior courtyard with orange trees in bloom and shaded areas with tables where some guests took their breakfast. The young women in Reception ( Matilde & Emmy ) were always very helpful, friendly and kind. I was amazed at Mathilde’s efficiency and calm, facing a room of guests with individual requests for omelettes, etc. while still checking people out in the nearby reception area. Both of them deserve a bonus for what they do to the customer’s impression of a hotel!

The stay was amazing The

I had an amazing stay! The rooms are comfortable and modern. The garden was wonderful. So nice to have breakfast there. And the breakfast was delicious! Such a nice touch.

The staff were very willing to help when witnessing difficulty.
