Rooms clean. Staff are nice. Breakfast is pretty good.

The hotel is in an excellent location - a short walk to the train station and steps away from the Munch museum and the Opera House. The breakfast was outstanding - a fantastic spread. The only downside is that the hotel does not have air conditioning, and although you can open a door (a bit) for some air - if the the temperature outside is 29C its hard to get the room to be less than 26C

Overall this was an ok experience, and we would return to this hotel, however it didn't met the standard of a luxury property. Pros: - Breakfast is outstanding. One of the best hotel breakfast we had ever. - The hotel is very well located, minutes to the train station and close to city center. - The hotel is well maintained and generally clean. - The gym is very well equipped. Cons - The rooms have no phones, which means you have to take the elevator down to the ground floor every time you need anything. - The room is not very well supplied. No coffee creamer, one pod for 2 people. - The tv only has a handful of channels. - You have to tap your key card to lock and unlock your room door. Most hotels room doors lock automatically. - Our mini fridge was not working.

Really easy arrival check in. One thing I'd point out is the dividing door on floor 9 wasn't intuitive as it looked like the end of corridor. Maybe a sign or automatic opening door would help. It was very hard to open. Room was spacious and clean. Rooftop bar was nice with great views. Breakfast options were excellent. Ground floor bar was great with some nice cocktails and decent pizza. A great location.

Hotel was in a great location near Munch art gallery. Walking distance to all the sights. Hotel has no parking but that is because it is central. Was able to find parking in Oslo S parking, expensive but at least walking distance to the hotel. The hotel is modern and stylist. The room too, but not much cupboard space. The beds a little soft for our liking, but that is our preference. It even had a safe which was nice to have as the major of the hotels we stayed in did not have one. Breakfast was exceptional, so much choice and constantly refilled. This was the best hotel by far in our holiday for breakfast.

Clarion Oslo was a very nice hotel. Staff were very friendly, especially at breakfast. Delicious breakfast spread. Room was clean with decent amenities. Gym was difficult to find, but nice. Only hiccup was checkin. We missed our first night (of 2) due to a missed connection. I notified the hotel, who responded to me, offering to check us in so it’d be ready upon arrival the second day. Upon arrival the following day, we were told our first night was marked as a “no show.” They found us a room, but was a little disconcerting, after traveling for two days and knowing the hotel had received our message about a late arrival. Great location and overall very good stay, would stay there again.
