Good one night stay, to attend a function in Liverpool, bed was comfortable, staff were all great - all good

When I arrived I was told there was no room available. Very helpful man on reception found a room and got me sorted. No aircon.

Positives. Staff were all superb. Parking was good. Hotel architecture is wonderful if you like art deco. The room was nice and clean. Negatives. Air conditioning throughout the hotel isn’t working. Rooms were all above 25c all night. No espresso based coffees available. Bean to cup “still not working” and no one available to make coffees from the bar. Coffee available was terrible. The whole hotel is in need of an overhaul. Everything seems tired. Carpets in room were threadbare in places. Might be wrong but all looks very 1990s.

Enjoyed the stay. Nice rooms, good free parking and WiFi. Nice bar. The main disappointment was the air conditioning in the room wasn’t working

We’ve stayed at the hotel several times over the years. As always it’s excellent value for money and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The only thing stopping a 5 star review was the fact that the air conditioning was not working. I believe this affected the whole hotel and the same thing happened in a previous stay a few years ago.

Stayed here for 1 night, overall it was okay, the room was clean but very warm due to the air con still not working, furniture very outdated. Breakfast was typical serve yourself, hot & cold food available, staff in the dining room friendly. Went into the bar in the evening and decided to get something to eat, the prices of food are quite high, tried to order pizza but they didn't have any, ordered a chicken sandwich and was brought out ham & cheese, then went to order another kopparberg cider on draft but they had run out. For 1 night it was fine but maybe not for a longer stay.

Do not stay at this hotel until they fix their AC issues. Turned up at the hotel with no prior warning that the AC was not working. No offer of a fan as they had all been given out (some guests had 2 to the detriment of other guests) Can’t even blame the heatwave as the rooms were still hotter than the sun even on a cooler day. Such a shame as the hotel is in a lovely location for the airport as well as a well stocked retail park opposite. The only positive I have is my interaction with Dylan (manager) who has been excellent in providing a solution to my awful 2 night stay at the crowne plaza.

Stay was good in terms of a lovely breakfast but unfortunately air con wasn't working (broken in that section of hotel) and i didnt sleep. However thankfully my two daughters slept well. Staff were hehlpful and provided fans for the room.

Aircon not working, so room stiflingly hot and external temp was only low 20s. From reviews it seems to have been unavailable for a considerable time. If the aircon is working this is a great hotel, breakfast is good and the staff are helpful. If it’s not then it makes for a very unpleasant night attempting to sleep

It was terrible, the poor guy on reception was on his own and trying really hard and there was a queue, the first room was awful and stunk and the next room was ok but no air con, receptionist was brilliant and tried really hard but he had no help and it wasn't his fault, hotel was shabby and miles away from the airport.
