Amazing location next to everything humble staff

Was the cutest place to stay! There may be no continental breakfast but the location and staff made up for it for sure! Perfect and so fun to stay right in the middle of everything!

-PROS- The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. Walking distance to Bourbon Street. -CONS- Since there were 5 of us, one had to use the sofa bed. Underneath the sofa were used bottle waters from who knows how long it’s been there. Lots of dust bunnies. The bed itself were disgustingly stained and the frame weren’t holding the weight properly anymore. Sofa cushions were all stained as well and the paint in the bathroom ceiling were peeling off. No, I wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel is not fancy but very cozy and clean. It's more like an apartment. Close enough to the French Quarter that you can enjoy it, but far enough away you can get away from it if you want some quiet. Super close to Congo Square and St. Louis Cemetery #1 and the Visitor's Center. I will be staying there again.

Trash on floor, front door deadbolt didnt work, door had a gap throught it to see out, ceiling fans had build up dust

No desk in the room to do work.

What we like about this place: convenient location, cleanliness, and comfort.

This is an older, quaint place in an excellent location. I really liked how they give you bottled water as you need it. I was able to do everything on foot. The bed was very comfortable and the AC was great. The bathroom is tiny and the cleanliness of it, especially the tub, was questionable. My particular room had no windows and the hardwood floor had certain spots where it felt like there was barely any support under the wood. Wish the TV had better channels, but at the end of the day I was mostly out and about and only there to pretty much shower & sleep.

Guest service was great. Dewayne provided great hospitality. Hotel definitely old. My room had something like a portable floor type ac that temp couldn't be adjusted and it was set on 72 in 90 degree weather which made it uncomfortable. Room safe didn't work. Bathroom really small. Had tub shower combo If your looking for a budget hotel with no amenities and just need a place to lay your head then this is it. If you want comfort and like nice things this isn't it. Pictures online misleading. Balcony floor makes you think it's going to fall at any time the way it looks. I'm not a boojie chick but this place is actually below my standards. I'll sleep in a laquinta that's how my standards are but this place is lower than laquinta.
