You should give some time to figure out the pool itself and also the environment there. We couldn't see through the water and we went at the end of day but also early in the morning and both times that water was not treated properly.

The carousel bar lived up to the hype! The nightly music was great and their restaurant delicious. Plus the hotel is centrally located.

Stay on the new side. The old side is just tht old. Everything looked old. Everything smelled old, but the staff was nice.

If you’re looking for a hotel that truly understands what hospitality means, this is it. Our stay at Hotel Monteleone was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. Every single staff member from the front desk, the bell staff, the bar and restaurant teams, to housekeeping made us feel genuinely welcome. They don’t just provide service; they create an experience. The concierge team was exceptional. They answered every question, gave wonderful recommendations, and went above and beyond to help make my mom’s birthday trip unforgettable. As Christians, we were looking for family friendly and faith friendly activities, and they were always happy to suggest places to visit and things to do that fit exactly what we were looking for. It truly felt like having a personal travel agent available 24/7. We also decided to upgrade our room, and they made the process quick, easy, and stress free. I can’t recommend Hotel Monteleone enough. If you want to experience genuine Southern hospitality, elegance, outstanding customer service, and a hotel that makes you feel special, this is the place to stay. We will absolutely be back. Thank you for making my mom’s birthday so memorable!

The style and uniqueness of the hotel was very nice. The staff were very nice, too. I wasn’t satisfied with hearing the loud sucking noises when the toilet flushed in the adjoining room. This occurred during the day and night.

The staff was THE BEST! Wonderful location. Delicious breakfast at Criollo. 1000% will stay there again!

Lovely personal touches added to beautiful hotel smack dab in middle of French Quarter. They supplied us with water, robes and slippers, praline, lovely soaps and lotions. Comfortable bed, Los of pillows valets and hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Loved our stay. Will be back!

After many trips to NOLA we finally decided to stay at HM. It is iconic. The bar is great with some banger live music. It was very busy and that may not be for everyone. The room was very quiet and comfortable. Very good shower and spacious bathroom. Staff was great. The drawbacks? Pool was closed for a while one afternoon for some funky water and pump problems. The next day it was so crowded we took a pass. There was an elevator out for one day. Small items but worth a mention. Glad we stayed but most likely will try another place next time.
