(Lavanta Hotel)

The only good thing about the property is that it is in the middle of Istiklal street. Other than that, the staff don’t speak English (I had to use sign language). The receptionist would just barge into the dorm at 3:00 am and turn on the lights and rattle around then leave. It is too expensive to be considered a hostel given that they have no communal kitchen, no decent bathroom, no amenities to use. I would recommend this place only because of the location.

The pictures shown are completely different from the state of the place. The bathroom was dirty a nobody cleaned the areas during my stay, even my the shelf where I can put the stuff had a peace of bubble gum. The location is super near of the noise, so if you want take a rest is imposble.

Noisy location

it was cheap and near Taksim , but it was very small and the shower drain was stuck

the people they serve are friendly, but one of their employees sleeps in the shared room and does not let the guests sleep well, besides the bathroom is the same as the reception and the shower is in poor condition

I was very happy staying at this hotel and I the breakfast was so delicious, thank you mostafa

Murat and the others were helpful and I will staying here in my next visit

One of the best hotels in Istanbul. Great value for money.

Very Polite staff especially the day time reception, murdoon i may have his name incorrectly
