Host very friendly and serviceable. Very peaceful and calm. It has a beautiful spa included in the package. Restaurant at venue as well

The room and facility were wonderful. I just wish there’s an easier way to get there.

Love love love this hotel! I stayed in the annex with my own private bath on the balcony overlooking the mountains. The room was spacious and impeccably designed. The only thing that needs to be changed is the floorboards, as they are peeling apart everywhere. Also, the bed was not very comfortable. I had half-board, so breakfast and dinner were included. Breakfast was a lovely buffet with both Japanese and western breakfast items. Dinner was a fixed 5-course menu. Dinner tried to be elevated, but just missed the mark in flavors. I also wish that dinner came with a drink, because you had to pay for a drink with your meal. But all-around an excellent experience in the magical town of Gora. Highly recommend.

The staff there was amazing, they were so kind and attentive to everyone and they truly gave great customer service. The rooms were also beautiful and very clean. The quality of this ryokan is well worth the price.

The one amenity that makes this property enjoyable is the private bath on the outdoor deck. WiFi never worked the three days of our stay. The property is located on a hillside so be prepared to walk steep slopes or take a taxi.

Had a great 1 night stay with the wife and 2 teenagers in a Premier Deluxe Japanese Western room. Booked this as the one expensive special treat night for this trip. Room was clean, in excellent condition, very spacious and looked just like the photos on the website. The room having its own outdoor private onsen bath was fabulous. Dinner was excellent with every course looking and tasting amazing. Breakfast was also good with lots of options for the buffet. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Just what I was hoping our stay would be like.

Great location in Hakone to chill and relax. Spacious rooms. Nice onsen for both genders (little small but wasn't overcrowded). Breakfast and dinner dining options were both excellent and mixed Japanese and Western cuisines.
