The location was great, however upon arrival we had the top floor next to the generator super noisy all night and the sheets had stains on and no duvet or pillows provided for the pull out...towels with holes and threadbare carpets. Not sure if this is usual for New York hotels however just to note breakfast was all using plastic cutlery and paper plates and cups...a shame as the cleanliness of the bathroom was great! The price point I guess matched this, however as part of Hilton we were surprised. Staff great however!!

A very pleasant stay. our stay was great. we rate 10 out of 10. Location was great and convenientto both times Squareand the subway / port authorityso that was a huge plus...we were extremely satisfied. Jessica upfront staff was amazing very helpful. The breakfast staff was amazing and friendly. They took the time to greet everyone and make sure everyone was taken care of. I'll Def be booking here again if ever in New York

The staff were amazing. Always willing to help when we had questions. The breakfast was great and the staff were always available to help.

This is probably the worst hotel I ever stayed at. Tiny rooms, filthy bathroom, hotel was severely deteriorated. The only positive was the location.

Hampton Inn as a brand is a really good example of a family friendly mid-tier hotel. For our budget and needs this hotel was the exact perfect place to stay. The free breakfast had several hot options and the breakfast staff was absolutely fantastic. Our stay was five days, and Cesar ‘The breakfast guy’ made our family feel important and taken care of. Anytime we saw a small maintenance issue- which let’s be honest with this many tourists is gonna happen every day— the hotel was immediately on it. The front desk was even telling me about how they have a project coming up to upgrade the bathroom vent fans in all the rooms. It’s a huge project, but knowing that they care to make sure every day is as comfortable as possible made me glad this was our hotel choice. We have stayed at some very high-end properties, but the Hampton Inn is our go to and I feel like I would unreservedly recommend this location to anyone staying in New York.

Breakfast was good, the room was clean and they did our room daily. The staff was very nice since we arrived up to the moment we left. The AC was not working but they sent someone really quickly to fix it and it worked trhoughout our stay. I’d only say the shower is very small and the water came out of it fairly easy so it was wet after each shower. Rhe location is amazing, very near the stations and plenty of food options. Walking distance from Madison Square Garden and Times square.

After my flight was canceled and delayed for two days, I arrived to find that my reservation had not been honored—even though I was charged for those two days. This caused excessive new expenses and immense stress while trying to find new accommodations. To make matters worse, the staff was not helpful at all and offered no assistance other than a simple 'sorry.'
