After a couple of nights of outside noise keeping me awake, I asked the staff if I could change to a quieter room. They were very helpful and able to find me one and although it resulted in a room upgrade there was no additional charge. Could not have been more helpful.

Staff was spectacular. Helpful in many ways. Great location. Particularly helpful to those doing fjord cruises.

Rooms are very small and my first day room was super hot like an oven, but they changed to a better room. They don’t clean rooms everyday and beds are very bad. Breakfast also not good. Overall it’s a very bad experience and paid lot of money for this hotel. Please request the hotel management to refund first day stay as the third floor room without AC was terrible.

We had a very pleasant stay. Good breakfast, our room was tidied up promptly. Recommend the hotel provides ear plugs to their guests as the hotel is located near many bars, restaurants and I had to use my ear plugs nightly. However great location, near train & tramway. I recommend it

The room carpet smell . Also, we asked kettle to make something . Nothing came for it. I liked the bathroom has a radiant heat . Helps a lot since Bergen is rainy.

The hotel may be centrally located, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say. It’s surrounded by bars that stay open until 3am, and the noise throughout the night was unbearable. I barely slept because I was constantly being woken up by shouting, music, and people outside. It got so bad that I had to ask reception for earplugs just to try and get a few hours of sleep. While the rooms initially look stylish with some unusual designs, the cleanliness and maintenance were shocking. There were dirty footprints all over the bathroom floor and several tiles were literally peeling away from the wall. It felt neglected and poorly maintained. I was staying here for a business trip and expected a comfortable, professional environment, but this hotel was the complete opposite. If I return to Bergen, I will absolutely be staying somewhere else.

More of a backpackers type of accommodation. Not suited for a business trip

The location was fantastic One could walk easily around the city. My room looked down onto cafes and a historic church. There was also a small supermarket next door where one could pick up some fresh fruit or snacks. The staff especially those on reception were so helpful and friendly. One girl called Olina was particularly helpful and went to extra effort to give me assistance with directions to visitor sights. I found all staff friendly and happy to help.

Great location and great breakfast.

The location in the Bergen City Centre one block from the Fish Market was ideal. Perfect hotel for the solo traveler.
